Audeze Artist Profile

Phil Parsons

Phil Parsons began working for Distiller Music in 2012 at the first incarnation of their in-house studios, The Distillery. His engineering talents were quickly recognised and as a result he worked on Distiller’s roster of artists including Reverend & The Makers, Danny Goffey (Supergrass), Cassia, Anteros, The Ninth Wave & The Ramona Flowers.
Although predominantly a private in-house studio, some external clients had access through association or invite. The Stereophonics were one of these artists and as a result Phil has continued to work with them to this day including Kelly Jone’s side projects (Far From Saints and a solo album). Three of these releases ended up charting number 1 in the UK Album charts.
Phil was recently involved with the design and installation of Distillery ll Studios, the much improved and multi-functional commercial studio facility, where he takes the position of head engineer and works on the majority of projects passing through its doors.

About the Headphones

"My Audeze LCD-X are like a safe pair of hands. If I get a bit lost during a session or mix when working on speakers I know I can put them on and immediately trust what I’m hearing again."
